About us

Our vision and mission

The staggering reality of our times is that every year in Germany, about 450 people lose their lives while cycling. Accidents not only claim lives, but also leave a trail of suffering in the form of some 90,000 injured cyclists each year – and that’s in Germany alone. These numbers are alarming, and they cry out for change. They cry out for attention and awareness. They cry out for solutions.

Cycling safety is not an abstract issue, but a life-changing reality that is brought to bear every day on the streets of our cities and towns. Each of these numbers represents a person: a father, a mother, a child, a friend or a neighbor who was involved in a tragedy that could have been avoided.

The key to addressing this frightening reality lies in our awareness and recognition of the need for high-quality, carefully selected products and services to improve bicycle safety. It’s time for all of us to take an active role in creating a safer future for cyclists.

Our vision is clear: to create awareness of the importance of bicycle safety and encourage people to take proactive measures to protect themselves and others. This vision not only reflects our beliefs and values, but is also a commitment to every individual who gets on a bike. It is a mission that aims to transform bicycle safety from a neglected issue to a public concern worthy of attention.

To make this vision a reality, we are committed to providing a wide range of services and products to promote bicycle safety. This includes safety training and workshops where participants can learn how to stay safe on the road, as well as high-quality products such as bicycle helmets, reflective clothing and bicycle locks. Each of these offerings has been carefully selected and tested to ensure they meet the highest safety standards and can help prevent accidents and save lives.

At the same time, we know that promoting bicycle safety goes beyond simply offering services and products. There is a need for a comprehensive societal change, a change in consciousness, which can only be achieved if we all – governments, organizations, communities and individuals – work together to achieve it.

It’s about education. It’s about teaching cyclists how to be safe on the roads, and motorists how to respect the rights and safety of cyclists. It is about improving legislation and ensuring fair and safe treatment of all road users. It’s about making sure our cities and towns develop bicycle infrastructure that prioritizes cyclist safety and comfort.

Every accident, every cyclist injured or killed is one too many. Each of us can and must help improve cycling safety. Every helmet worn, every safety course taken, every reflective jacket worn, and every safe bike lane built brings us one step closer to our goal: a world where cyclists can ride safely and without fear on the roads.

We have a responsibility for ourselves and our fellow human beings. Let us assume this responsibility together. Let’s make sure that today’s alarming numbers are not tomorrow’s reality. Let’s work together to create a safer future for all bicyclists. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about numbers, it’s about human lives. And every single life counts.
